Project Duration: September 2024 to  January 2025

Project Budget : NPR 49,25,850.00 ( Approx.)

Project Objectives: 

  • Enhance Awareness and Capacity on Climate Resilience and Biodiversity Conservation
  •  Mainstream Climate Resilience in the regular plans of local government, resulting strengthened collaboration for biodiversity Conservation at local level

Major Activities: 

  • Inception Meeting with Forest, Environment and disaster management committee of LG.
  • Community-level sensitization workshop on importance of climate resilience, planning process and resource leveraging for CCA and biodiversity conservation.
  • Review of implementation status of existing local adaptation plans to facilitate climate change adaptation planning and budgeting at local level.
  • Training on climate resilience linking with biodiversity conservation at local level.
  • Training on climate resilience linking with biodiversity conservation at province level.

2.  Project Name: : Local Adaptation Plan for Action ( LAPA) Preparation under the Sustaining Ecosystems and Livelihood in Langtang Region (SELL) Project 
Project Location: Goshaikunda RM, Kalika RM, and Naukunda RM of Rasuwa District 
Project Duration: September 2024 to  October 2024
Name of Client:  Langtang Area Conservation Concern Society, Rasuwa
Project Budget : 345,000.00 ( Approx.)

Project Objectives: 

  • Prepare the Local Adaptation Plan for Action (LAPA) of three local levels in Rasuwa district.

Major Activities: 

  • Conduct two-day consultation events in three rural municipalities.
  • Facilitate community-level consultations in all 17 wards of three rural municipalities.
  • Develop the local adaptation plan for action of three municipalities.
  • Provide capacity-building support to LACCoS to effectively engage in climate adaptation initiatives.
